THIS POSITION MAY BE FILLED AS A 0854 COMPUTER ENGINEER OR AS A 1550 COMPUTER SCIENTIST.

2. VETERANS' PREFERENCE: If you are claiming 5-point
preference, you MUST provide the appropriate DD-214 (Member-4 copy). A 5-point preference is granted to most veterans who entered the military service prior to October 14, 1976. Veterans who served after that date may also receive 5-point preference if they received or were entitled to receive an applicable Campaign Badge or Expeditionary Medal and have sufficient length of military service.
If you are claiming 10-point preference, you MUST complete a Standard Form 15 (SF-15), and provide other documentation as appropriate. In addition, disabled veterans must submit a copy of a letter from the Veterans Administration dated 1991 or later, verifying service-connected disability. Preference will not be awarded without proof. SF-15 is available by calling (702) 293-8000. Although, you may be entitled to a 10-point veterans' preference if you: (1)
received a Purple Heart; or (2) have a service-connected disability; or (3) are the spouse or mother of a disabled veteran; or (4) are a widow, widower, or mother of a deceased veteran. Claim for 10-point veterans' preference REQUIRES submission of a SF-15 and all applicable documentation of the categorical claim as specified in
detail on the SF-15.

3. CTAP/ICTAP ELIGIBLES: If you are claiming CTAP/ICTAP
eligibility, you must submit a copy of your most recent performance appraisal, proof of eligibility, and your most current SF-50 noting position, grade level, and duty location. To be considered under CTAP/ICTAP, you must meet the well-qualified standards for the position. A well-qualified applicant must satisfy the following criteria: In addition to meeting minimum qualifications, including
