&lt;b&gt;Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Defines, schedules, supervises, and executes complex research projects, including laboratory, pilot, and full scale test work ensuring technical accuracy&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Writes technical reports on research projects and testing results and makes presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
May supervise and train lower level engineering personnel on assigned projects ensuring adherence to established safety standards and regulations. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Reviews reports of lower level engineering personnel for accuracy of technical content, completeness and format.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Participates in new idea generation and development of concepts for new R&amp;D projects and technologies.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Publishes technical papers, attends professional meetings and makes presentations&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Education &amp; Experience Requirements&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
PhD degree preferably in minerals processing or chemical engineering and &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Experience and proficient in the area of flotation research. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ability to conduct complex bench and pilot tests, perform technical calculations and research data.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Requires excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Must be proficient in the use of the personal computer using company standard software.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Must be a team player and self motivated.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Advanced skills in developing computer models &amp; simulations is preferred&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

Key Deliverables:&lt;br /&gt;
The key deliverables related to the position include but are not limited to the following:&lt;br /&gt;

	Drive New Technology Introductions, New Product Introductions, Product Management of Change, and new test method development to support the growth of Azdel.  &lt;br /&gt;
	Identify &amp; implement innovative new product technologies for break through product performance in order to build the pipeline for future growth.  &lt;br /&gt;
	Optimize existing product technologies for improved product performance.   &lt;br /&gt;
	Lead projects using using statistical design of experiments to deliver Six Sigma performance.  Extend rigor to take new products from the laboratory to the manufacturing floor, ensuring consistent manufacturing performance of the products.&lt;br /&gt;

5) Document and communicate key learnings, identify and pursue patent opportunities, contribute new ideas for consideration.&lt;br /&gt;
	Document and communicate most important project learnings in technical reports.&lt;br /&gt;
	Identify &amp; pursue patentable ideas via patent disclosures &lt;br /&gt;
	Prepare patent applications.&lt;br /&gt;
	Submit new ideas for consideration.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Minimal Qualifications or Requirements:&lt;br /&gt;
Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Paper Technology with at least 5 years of industrial experience.&lt;br /&gt;
PLC logistics design experience required.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Preferred Qualifications:&lt;br /&gt;
Advanced degree preferred.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;!--d--&gt;This position is part of a R&amp;D team that is responsible for the development and improvement of MOCVD epitaxial growth for III-Nitride LED products. The successful candidate will be a resourceful, hands-on, problem solver with the capacity to quickly grasp and resolve a wide range of technical challenges.  The person should thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented atmosphere and be capable and willing to work in a team of scientists, engineers, and technicians.&lt;br /&gt;

SHIFT:  2nd Shift + One Weekend Day (2:00pm-midnight; Tues-Sat OR Sun-Thurs):&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
RESPONSIBILITIES:&lt;br /&gt;

Support the team through ownership of process and equipment aspects of semiconductor processing, &lt;br /&gt;
Provide contributions to process improvement through scheduling of runs, tracking process parameters, and troubleshooting process and equipment problems &lt;br /&gt;
Analysis of parametric data and preparation of summaries (both written and verbal) for distribution internally to the R&amp;D team and also for broader distribution to production teams &lt;br /&gt;
Ownership of projects related to process development; these projects may involve working directly with production manufacturing teams &lt;br /&gt;
Be the technical lead for the R&amp;D team during 2nd shift &lt;br /&gt;
Support 24x7 R&amp;D operations, including off-shift response as necessary &lt;br /&gt;
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:&lt;br /&gt;

This position is open to candidates with no semiconductor growth experience but who have process development experience (preferably semiconductor processing, but not required).  New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.&lt;br /&gt;

We have an immediate opening for a Project Engineer in our Tyngsboro, Massachusetts office, to provide our clients with engineering solutions to their wide range of bulk solids handling and processing problems.  As a part of a world-renowned team of solids handling engineers, you will help clients solve existing solids handling problems, as well as develop designs for new handling equipment and processes to ensure reliable solids handling.&lt;br /&gt;

Position requirements include:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering,&lt;br /&gt;
Three to five years of industry experience,&lt;br /&gt;
Excellent design and problem-solving skills,&lt;br /&gt;
Excellent written and oral skills to effectively communicate with clients,&lt;br /&gt;
Travel required on a regular basis to meet with clients both in the U.S. and abroad.&lt;br /&gt;
