The Kennewick Irrigation District (KID) is seeking an Engineering Manager to supervise and manage all projects in the engineering and operations departments.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The KID provides raw irrigation water to more than 20,000 residences in the cities of Kennewick, Richland, and West Richland as well as agricultural lands in eastern Benton County.  KID also operates two potable water systems. The KID is undergoing robust urbanization and expansion of its agricultural lands.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The KID has approximately 50 full time employees, five in Engineering and 26 in Operations.  KID has an operating budget of over $7 million plus a capital improvement budget of over $1 million.  KID has over 80 miles of open canals and about 70+ urban pump stations.  The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years experience in senior technical leadership positions.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.  Applicants must also have the following:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•Proven capabilities in open channel flow, canal regulation and pressurized pump station design and operation&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•A Washington State PE license or acquire such license within six months of being employed by KID&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•Extensive experience with canal flow and pump automation, including remote SCADA operations, installations and maintenance&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•Leadership, strategic management and strong communication skills.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Salary range is $70,247 to $105,370 annually plus benefits.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;
