Yoh has a direct-hire opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our client in Orlando, FL.

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a good understanding of general and detailed aspects of the engineering design and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered as related to commercial HVAC design.

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversees the design of HVAC systems, components or portions of systems, and modifies existing designs to develop or improve them.
- Uses Revit MEP and AutoCAD platforms to complete design tasks
- Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations, and prepares layouts and sketches to present design proposal.

Job Qualifications:

- BSME or related engineering discipline is required.
- Ideal experience: Seven to fifteen (7-15) years in HVAC design and project management.
- Should have solid understanding of Florida Energy Codes and ASHRAE 90.1 Energy Standard.
- Would prefer someone that had experience using Carrier HAP and/or Trane Trace.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Must be proficient AutoCAD (Revit MEP strongly preferred).
- PE preferred, but not necessary
