CSS, Inc. is looking for a civil engineer to join our Tampa, FL office. The successful candidate will work with the project team in Site and Land Development. This individual will be responsible for the preparation of engineering design and drawings, working directly with reviewing agencies in submittal for and acquisition of permits, and preparation of design calculations and specifications. This person will be expected to manage project time frames and submittal deadlines, work directly with staff in preparation of design packages including stormwater design. Growth potential with a small, growing firm with offices in Florida and South Carolina.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Position Requirements: At least 3 years experience in land development engineering. Ability to effectively communicate with review agencies, well versed in operating AutoCAD Civil 3D, experience preparing designs with and operating ICPR and MODRET, familiarity with design requirements for Florida Water Management Districts, and ability to perform limited travel.&lt;br /&gt;

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Professional Registration: Successful completion of F.E. Exam; ability to sit for Professional Engineering Exam within 2 years.&lt;br /&gt;

Position Overview:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;!--d--&gt;The Process Engineer will provide process engineering support with capital equipment and production processes to ensure productivity, efficiency, and consistency of new and existing plant equipment. Technically skilled and an effective communicator, the Process Engineer will partner with Area Managers and Shift Supervisors.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Responsibilities:&lt;br /&gt;
•Solve problems to the root cause, seeking and identifying opportunities, and implementing solution within authority&lt;br /&gt;
•Work with production and engineering on projects and on resolving process concerns&lt;br /&gt;
•Assist in the training and guidance of associates in the process and use of equipment&lt;br /&gt;
•Develop and implement process plans to include measurement techniques&lt;br /&gt;
•Support other engineers and engineering projects as assigned and/or needed&lt;br /&gt;
•Prepare reports, mechanical drawings, and other documentation of engineering projects, production, and pollution abatement systems&lt;br /&gt;
•Ensure documentation for ISO standards, quality procedures, and other standards are complete and current&lt;br /&gt;
•Conduct formal and informal inspections to ensure equipment and machinery is in working order; document and report all problems&lt;br /&gt;
•Review and assess equipment drawings, adjust and correlate data to ensure accuracy&lt;br /&gt;
•Assist in the research of new applications, technologies, and design alternatives&lt;br /&gt;
•Maintain a working knowledge of the Company's manufacturing operation&lt;br /&gt;
•Troubleshoot and analyze root cause of equipment/part failures using experimental and analytical methods&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Requirements:&lt;br /&gt;
•Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited College or University &lt;br /&gt;
•Minimum 4 years previous work experience with process design and/or improvement in manufacturing environment &lt;br /&gt;
•Advanced comprehension of mechanical engineering principles &lt;br /&gt;
•Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required &lt;br /&gt;
•Strong technical skills and statistical analysis aptitude &lt;br /&gt;
•Proficient AutoCAD skills - experience with Inventor or similar product (SolidWorks, Pro-E)&lt;br /&gt;
•Proven leadership skills to champion change in a highly dynamic environment, promote a positive team atmosphere, and sustain a continuous improvement culture &lt;br /&gt;
•First-rate interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications and conflict resolution, ensuring team cooperation &lt;br /&gt;
•Highly self-motivated and directed, ability to work well under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently, attend to details, and meet deadlines &lt;br /&gt;
•Previous experience in a metal casting, foundry, or similar manufacturing operation strongly preferred&lt;br /&gt;
