*Develop, propose and install material handling equipment necessary to ensure an efficient and safe work environment with respect to handling materials or supplies.
*Develop and maintain the proper level of quality control systems to ensure product specifications are met. This includes operator quality check sheets.
*Revise drawings for existing products to continually improve the products and processes. AutoCAD and SolidWorks are used to document the changes.
*Assist in the development of Trumpf nesting routines for Production Control and the shop floor.
*Prepare MRP II Bills of Materials (BOMs) and process routings.
*Troubleshoot problems on the plant floor; this is a high priority item on a daily basis.
*Perform operator assembly training or Safety and Health training to satisfy governmental agency requirements. Prepare training aids, including operator instructions and illustrations.
*Perform detailed and documented project management. This includes the use of Microsoft Project proficiency.
*Document and maintain records for EPA and related agencies.
*Justifies, procures, and implements capital equipment at the facility (CapEx program).
*May require occasional travel as needed.
*Must be able to work additional hours to support the organization�s needs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

*A Bachelor�s Degree in engineering, technology, or business preferred. Associate�s Degree or equivalent from a two (2) year college or technical school and five (5) years of experience will be allowed; equivalent combination of training, education, and/or experience may be substituted. Equivalent experience or training must be in the field of engineering, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
*The ability to read and write in the English language.
*Reasoning ability is required to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
*Mathematical abilities to include trigonometry, geometry, and college algebra and the ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Required Skills
� BS Degree in Technical or Engineering field preferred.
