Position Description

The Phantom Works organization is seeking an avionics hardware engineer to support the Boeing Adaptive Architecture program. This position is part of a team tasked with the development, procurement, and demonstration of components that will be part of an integrated Open System Mission Processor system. The system includes processing nodes, digital networks, discrete interface control, display interfaces, data/video storage, input devices, and interface units as well as representative Mission Systems software functions for sensors, communication, weapons and PVI.

Works with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements on complex multi-tiered projects. Performs analysis and translation of complex requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications. Performs testing and validation work on complex system designs to assure that operational and functional requirements are met. Works with other to develop program test strategies. Monitors performance of critical suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Performs research into technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Makes recommendations for technology investments. Assists in the writing of buy-to-packages (spec, SSOW, SDRLs). The hardware team works with the rest of the organization to ensure overall goals are met.

This position requires experience in the development of embedded processing systems for tactical avionics platforms, an understanding of Internet Protocol-based networking, and the demonstrated ability to develop work statements (SOW) and performance specifications. Knowledge of network-centric concepts including information assurance, multi-level security, and systems-of-systems is desired. Experience with technical management of a supplier is also desirable.

Position Description

Boeing - St. Louis Electrical Engineering is seeking new/recent college graduates and early career engineers to participate in the development of complex FPGA-based logic designs, including the analysis of customer & system requirements, the development of architectural approaches & detailed specifications, and the implementation and verification of the designs. The engineer will work with system engineers and management to define requirements. Will perform preliminary logic design, parts selection, design analysis, generate design specifications and implement source code, perform verification in simulations, and verify and validate operation in hardware. Will test assembled designs and support software & system integration, design reviews, and support transition to production activities.

Experience in designing FPGA-based electronic systems and use of related electronic design tools is required. Applicants must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environment - previous design team or special project team participation is desired. Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

The St. Louis/St. Charles sites are located in St. Louis & St. Charles counties respectively, located about 20 miles NW of downtown St. Louis, Missouri. F/A-18 & F-15 fighter jets are built and integrated at the site and flight tested at various Navy and Air Force test facilities. Position Description

The Weapons Production Support and Sustainment group is seeking an individual to join the Direct Attack Test Engineering Support Team. The successful candidate will provide real-time operational support and technical expertise in the testing and troubleshooting of Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM), Laser JDAM sensors (LJDAM) and Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) products. Job requirements include supporting the Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the operation and maintenance of JDAM/LJDAM/SDB specific electrical/electronic hardware and test equipment and provide corrective action and disposition instructions to resolve hardware, manufacturing and design anomalies. Job Responsibilities

As a Forensic Consultant (Structural Engineer), you will provide:
� Residential and commercial site investigations to determine the cause and origin of structural failures, damages or defects
� Investigate and assess damages due to catastrophes such as windstorm damage, hail damage, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes
� Provide detailed reports outlining the cause and origin of the damages to clients
� You will have client interaction on a regular basis, including marketing of services when not directly working on a job
� You may also be called upon to provide expert testimony in a court of law

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

� Candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
� MS Structural Engineering is preferred
� Professional Engineering license (PE) is required
� At least five plus (5+) years' experience as a design/structural engineer (residential, industrial and commercial buildings)
� Experience working with law firms and insurance companies is a plus
� Experience with commercial, institutional, healthcare, high-rise and governmental facilities is desired
� Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel and clients both verbally and written
� Travel may be extensive depending on the client's needs
