Position Description

The Weapons Production Support and Sustainment group is seeking an individual to join the Direct Attack Test Engineering Support Team. The successful candidate will provide real-time operational support and technical expertise in the testing and troubleshooting of Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM), Laser JDAM sensors (LJDAM) and Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) products. Job requirements include supporting the Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the operation and maintenance of JDAM/LJDAM/SDB specific electrical/electronic hardware and test equipment and provide corrective action and disposition instructions to resolve hardware, manufacturing and design anomalies. Experience in support of a union production test environment utilizing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) is considered a plus but is not required.

Primary responsibility will be in the Depot Support area with additional responsibility to follow in the Missile production area supporting the Harpoon/SLAM ER Program in the production of new Missile products in addition to supporting the repair and return to service of Field Returned Missiles, Missile components and related test station electrical/electronic hardware.

Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements. Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements. Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring suppliers'' performance to ensure compliance with requirements. Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies. Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs.

Position Description

The Advanced Boeing Military Aircraft (ABMA) division of Phantom Works is seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) engineer to lead the servoactuation analysis effort on a new prototype activity.

This position requires detailed knowledge of the modeling, analysis and testing of Electro-Mechanical and/or Hydraulic Servoactuators. In addition, the position will include designing and analyzing digital loop closures for multiple servoactuation controllers. - Ability to create a test plan in MS Word.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals.
- Ability to translate configuration specifications into working device configurations.
- Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.).
- Knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols, and network topology.
- Knowledge in network designing software is desired.
