Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in electrical engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.

Experience: 10+ years total engineering experience with at least 3 years of this experience in a supervisory capacity.

Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New Jersey. A minimum of 7 years experience in the rail/transit industry is also required in an electrical engineering or operations/ Maintenance capacity.

Be fully conversant with present day pro-active and documented operational and construction safety requirements.
Have excellent analytical skills and must demonstrate the ability to resolve engineering problems and the ability to write concise reports to management and the client with the findings.

Thorough understanding of maintenance standards and periodicty requirements is required.

Must be conversant with the requirements of the Department of Transportation and Department of Consumer Affairs regulations.
