PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: &lt;br /&gt;
 Lead and manage the engineering change in the manufacturing plant along with business partners in manufacturing, quality, and corporate industrialization team.&lt;br /&gt;
 Lead the continuous product improvement and cost reduction efforts with business partners (i.e. manufacturing, quality and corporate industrialization team) ensuring that a rigorous process is followed and that all efforts are aligned with Lean manufacturing principles.&lt;br /&gt;
 Define and communicate performance targets established through policy deployment for quality, customer service.&lt;br /&gt;
 Work with business partners to determine appropriate projects to focus on, using data driven decisions.&lt;br /&gt;
 Participate in the testing/analysis effort with business partners to determine root cause of problems. Participate in plant level resolution efforts for Supplier and Customer corrective action process.&lt;br /&gt;
 Interface with corporate industrialization and other business partners on the decision for manufacturability, process capability, and production builds of new product or product revisions. &lt;br /&gt;
 Work with production, maintenance of production equipment and facilities to maintain equipment capability through proper autonomous and preventative maintenance programs.&lt;br /&gt;
 Oversees, with maintenance and corporate equipment &amp; industrialization teams, the design, justification, planning, scheduling and building of machines and tools required for operations and quality.&lt;br /&gt;
 Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with plant management and other business partners on the execution of policy deployment and establishing employee involvement programs (Kaizens, SMED, 5s, Kami Shabai etc.)&lt;br /&gt;
 Promote Lean Manufacturing principles with a focus on creating value and eliminating waste. &lt;br /&gt;
 Establish an environment conducive to high levels of morale, employees satisfaction, and performance. &lt;br /&gt;
 Deliver performance to budget. Use participative approach in budgeting process.&lt;br /&gt;
 Ensure alignment of activities and resources within the team, and ensure cross-organization collaboration and employees involvement where appropriate.&lt;br /&gt;
 Provide coaching, information, ideas, feedback and encouragement to employees to promote the growth and development of the performance engineering team.&lt;br /&gt;
 Continued personal growth and development, support and encourage continuous learning within Performance Engineering team.&lt;br /&gt;
 Be highly visible to employees and create a safe environment for participation. Promote going to Gemba to solve problems and also promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem solving.&lt;br /&gt;

QUALIFICATIONS&lt;br /&gt;
 4 year degree or equivalent&lt;br /&gt;
 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in engineering or area of technical support.&lt;br /&gt;
 Background in engineering management, product development or manufacturing leadership preferred.&lt;br /&gt;
 Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance programs, quality processes, SPC and process capability work.&lt;br /&gt;
 Demonstrated leadership capabilities.&lt;br /&gt;

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:&lt;br /&gt;

 Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university with emphasis in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and three or more years in a production engineering environment &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
1.	Technical Support Engineering:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;!--d--&gt;Provide technical support for electrical and avionics engineering data to address customer requests or questions. Write Field Technical Reports (FTR) and Field Service Reports (FSR).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2.	Service Difficulty Reports (SDR):&lt;br /&gt;
Initiate, coordinate, and track resolution of SDRs in the database.  Coordinate and regularly report activity and resolution performance matrices to management.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
3.	Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and/or SA1230 Form Reviews:&lt;br /&gt;
Be the 'Process Expert' for ECRs.  Coordinate and track resolution with design and structures engineers to determine disposition of the requests. Maintain ECR database and create performance matrices to track activity and objectives.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4.	Avionics and Electrical design and drawing support when required.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
QUALIFICATIONS&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Aerospace Engineering Degree&lt;br /&gt;
	BA/BS degree w/4-7+ years experience&lt;br /&gt;
	MA/MS degree w/2-5+ years experience&lt;br /&gt;
	PhD degree w/0-2+ years experience&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Knowledge of the Code of Federal Aviation Regulations CFR Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Strong communication skills and ability to professionally represent Sikorsky Global Helicopters in communication with customers.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ability to perform all job functions effectively both independently and within a workgroup.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Knowledge of office software, including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint and AutoCad.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1.	Position may involve occasional travel.&lt;br /&gt;
2.	Work hours subject to project schedule to possibly include weekend coverage support.&lt;br /&gt;

TITLE: Control System Designer &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
MAJOR FUNCTION:	Work independently to design, program, troubleshoot, and assist with start-up of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power and control systems for specialized machines. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
RESPONSIBILITIES:	Review sales and engineering information with Project Manager and Electrical Supervisor.  Check time and material budget. Notify supervisor or Project Manager if engineering estimates differ from budget.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Design circuit and layout drawings of control and power panels in accordance with NEC and Corporate standards.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Identify long-lead purchased items and prepare sufficient information, in a timely fashion, to order material and provide electrical drawings for assembly and job documentation. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Design and detail electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings as required to meet all specifications.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Check drawings prior to releasing to shop.  Make sure they agree with mechanical design and customer requirements.  Make sure drawings are functional to allow the electric department to do the job efficiently.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Do required programming and debugging of control software, including PLCs, OIPs, drives, etc.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Assist shop personnel in checking or trouble shooting equipment when required.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
