Job Title: Structural Engineer

Yoh has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our client in Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

- The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing structural steel foundations and framing structures as well as the project management that is associated with those duties.
- Will be using AutoCAD to complete structural design work.
- Assist in the design, project management and calculations of things like industrial process plants, manufacturing facilities, and other steel-framed structures.
- Designing components or portions of systems, and modifying existing designs to develop or improve them.
- Gather information, make studies, perform calculations and prepare original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposals.
- Coordinate with other engineers and designers as needed.

Job Qualifications:

- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in structural steel design - PE desired.
- Must have experience in industrial structural design.
- Must be proficient using AutoCAD platforms.
- Should have a working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
- Must be willing to travel to local client facilities as needed.
