As the Sr. Technology Development Manager for Energy Conversion, you will work with the Managing Director of Energy Conversion, senior technical staff, and Corporate Development leadership to create a strategic approach for continued growth in GTI's gas processing business.

Position Requirements

Bring us your 15+ years of experience in the industry with at least 5 years of it with a midstream natural gas processor, major producer or national oil corporation. You also need a degree in chemical engineering or a related technical degree; an MBA is a desirable addition.

Gas Technology Institute (GTI), a leading research and development and training organization serving energy markets, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer to serve both as a Principal Investigator and project manager on major, complex assignments while attracting significant work to GTI. This work will focus on gas separation and gas processing technologies and include carrying our field tests of developmental gas processing technologies including sulfur removal and natural gas liquids recovery.

Position Requirements

We require a B.S. in engineering with 10+ years experience or an M.S. or Ph.D. with 7 years experience. The qualified candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the natural gas value chain from production through delivery into the interstate pipeline system, as well as working knowledge of all gas separations unit operations for natural gas and syngases. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proposal/report writing skill is a must. Process simulation using Aspen� programs and other process simulators is needed. Business development experience is desirable.

Our End Use Solutions Sector is focused on new technologies that improve efficiency, expand the natural gas product portfolio, increase the competitiveness of U.S. industry, and minimize environmental impact.

We are seeking an Engineer who will focus on the investigation of technologies to help manage natural gas demand for process heating and power generation while reducing emissions, improving productivity, and efficiency of natural gas fired equipment and processes.

Position Requirements

We require an Engineering degree combined with 2 or more year's experience. A candidate needs strong analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, and be an innovative individual with an interest in Research and Development. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of heat recovery/power generation/cooling technology at the commercial/industrial level. Experience with product development is a plus.
