We are currently seeking motivated, candidates for several Engineering positions such as Solder Process Engineer in the Houston area.

The Solder Process Engineer is responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving the Solder repair and assembly process methods to obtain maximum productivity levels.
Responsibilities:

�Provides guidance and support for repair the assembly processes and equipment
�Develop and maintain solder reflow profiles for PCB repair process
�Identifies and implements cost reduction opportunities.
�Instruct, guide, assist, and mentor the production operators.
�Recommend engineering design changes as needed.
�Develop and maintain process work instructions.
�Data collection to drive continuous process improvement and root cause corrective action
�Create and implement process control and improvements.
�Interface with cross-functional work teams on NPI projects.
Requirements:

�Bachelor's degree in technical/engineering field.
�At least 5 years of electronics manufacturing or repair experience with demonstrated knowledge of Solder placement and soldering, hand assembly, and repair.
�Experience in leading cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
�Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
�Experienced in Word, Excel, MS Project
�Strong mechanical aptitude.
�Experience in leading lean projects.

Responsibilities: Support the development and implementation of long and short-term strategic plans for the purpose of identifying and defining Engineering and capital objectives and establishing and meeting timelines to accomplish objectives for Rich Products Corporation.

Manage the Capital appropriation request process and ensure guidelines are adhered to.

Works with Marketing, R&D and Operations to facilitate new product development, including advising on feasibility, costing and execution of new equipment/processes as required.

Establish a process for development of a rolling 3-5 year plan for all preventative maintenance and capital replacement projects.

Lead cost reduction and Associate safety programs; leverage Global Engineering Team for ergonomic programs, etc.

Identify and enhance RPC sustainable competitive points of differentiations relative to engineering know-how and operating systems.

Monitors Regulatory and insurance requirements, and insures compliance.

Participate on the International Supply Chain Leadership team

Develop options for and support implement of long term strategies for each manufacturing location and product line based on Sales & Marketing projections.

Implement plans that optimize Human Resources and Capital Resources.

Challenge and implement Plant processes in order to improve productivity, lower costs, and improve quality.

Identify and evaluate opportunities to drive out costs across the enterprise.

Facilitate the sharing of best practices across the Regions / Plants.

Explore and propose the implementation of new process and packaging technology.

Responsible for development and completion of assigned projects/plans.

Provide strong Project Management Skills for Divisional Projects.

Creates and fosters an environment that encourages Associates to seek continuous process improvement, resulting in reduced costs, higher productivity, increased quality and more efficient operations.

Monitors adherence to enterprise engineering policies and practices.

Performs other related responsibilities, as needed

What do I need to be considered a candidate?
BS in Engineering. MBA preferred.

10 years experience in a manufacturing environment in leadership roles, including experiences managing the intricacies of global engineering operations.

Multilingual capabilities preferred.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and technology to improve manufacturing and procurement Demonstrated knowledge of international regulations impacting operations.

Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, motivate, understand and interact with Associates from diverse cultures.

Expertise in the new product development processes and products.

Ability to frequently travel internationally (typically 35% to 40% of time.

Ability to clearly communicate in writing and orally.

Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions.

Sound financial knowledge including operating budgets, capital budgets and overall business and marketplace profitability and growth.

Knowledge of quality and food safety performance regulations and Associate safety performance.

REPORTS TO: EES Division Manager, US Peroxide, LLC

I. Purpose of Position

The position provides engineering leadership for US Peroxide system design requirements. The position shall focus on design validation and standardization of USP equipment systems, ensuring that each system is thoroughly documented with design standards, system bill of materials and standard operating procedures. The position will be an integral part of company equipment development efforts with primary design responsibility, design standardization and fabrication quality control. The position works closely with the current engineering and project management team to ensure project equipment requirements are designed and fabricated to required standards. The position provides leadership and works closely with the USP fabrication shop for system fabrication and equipment quality control. The position requires the ability to lead and influence engineering initiatives for mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines.

The position supports and manages commercial initiatives either through engineering support or project management. The position will work with other team members for monitor/controller integration.
