Job Title: Quality Assurance Software Engineer
Company: HiT Software, Inc.
Location: San Jose, CA

HiT Software, based in San Jose, is looking for a dynamic, motivated software engineer to write and implement tests for new and existing products, across multiple platforms. You will also develop, modify and test programs and scripts, as well as track and report test results. You�ll be working closely with the development team and you�ll also be a back up customer support engineer (1st and 2nd level). This position requires:

�Firsthand experience developing automated tests using scripts, tools, and programming languages
�Excellent knowledge of SQL language
�Good knowledge of C++ and/or C#
�Sound understanding of database connectivity such as ODBC, OLE DB, JDBC and .NET Providers
�Proven experience with:
-At least one DBMS (preferably DB2, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server)
-Development environments such as Microsoft Visual Studio
-Personal productivity tools (email, MS Office, internet, etc.)
�Strong communications skills (verbal and written) to communicate with developers (in the US and Europe) and with customers/partners around the world

You should be a flexible and enthusiastic self-starter. You also need strong organizational skills, and enjoy working as part of a team. Great opportunity for growth. Salary depends on experience.

Education: BS, MS a plus.
