C# .Net Web programmer analyst is responsible for analyzing system problems and needs, programming fixes to existing applications, assisting in the development of specifications and developing new programs to automate business processes. Acts as a liaison between business users and the IT Department. Handles communications, interprets and documents user needs and builds automation plans to assist users. Position will consist of a wide variety of tasks including development, maintenance, and implementation. Development tasks will vary in scope from small projects with quick implementation timelines to complex projects that span months and may consist of multiple phases. This position may also offer assistance to or mentoring of lower level programmers.
5+ years of experience in developing web applications, with experience in C# .NET, familiar with VB
Strong experience in AngularJS 1.x, MVC Framework and Bootstrap
Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio 2015/2017
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document requirements and design
Manage technical aspects of program development, modification, and problem resolution
Actively participate in the development of technical workflows and procedures
Maintain existing Java or VB apps, develop new C# programs
Implement new and or improve existing products for automating business processes
Maintain all project activities in Library Control/Source Management System
Perform as team resource in the development of others, especially in areas of personal expertise
Contribute to team and department goals in addition to achieving individual goals
Additional duties and special projects as assigned
Essential Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent business experience
Ability to coordinate complex problems involving various audiences
Ability to positively interact with all internal and external customers
Ability to plan, multi-task and focus on detail, with strong analytical and decision making skills
Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong customer service, problem solving, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Computer literate; advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new software systems
