Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent education and experience Minimum of six (6) years' experience in production control with four (4) or more years in a management role within an automotive and/or manufacturing environment
  • Must have previous supervisory/management experience
  • Excellent communication skills Must have satisfactory attendance and safety record Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications Plex, As400 and Future 3 experience preferred
  • Responsible for decision-making and approval authorities regarding production plans.
  • Required to ensure the proper running of MPS and MRP, oversee purchasing, planning, inventory control, logistics and flow of material. Responsible for developing/implementing the master schedule from customer requests
  • Resolve unique circumstances and special requests Monitor and report daily production results versus schedule Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules Develop and control the material handling function to assure effective flow of material within the plant
  • Confirms material supply and demand Analyze and control the level of inventory of finished goods and work in process; plan layouts to achieve maximum material movement efficiency
  • Minimize scrap and slow-moving parts Resolve problems concerning shipments, shortages, engineering changes, and cancellation of orders Responsible for planning physical inventory to achieve maximum efficiency
  • Ability to develop and implement positive employee relations Oversee manpower planning Must be able to provide leadership to team members in order to accomplish tasks at hand Must be able to develop team members Knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Ability to travel as necessary Maintain Production Control department policy's (FIFO, Kanban, 5S, KPI)
  • Maintain satisfactory work area through implementation of 5S Develop cost reduction activities for Production Control department
  • Must have previous supervisory/management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year

Experience:
