Located in Greenville, SC, this highly visible position offers excellent training, development, and professional growth. This is an opportunity to take over part of a successful Real Estate book and work closely in the same office with the Firm's Real Estate Industry Practice Leader. And, with the firm's primary construction knowledge partner retiring, there is the opportunity for someone with strong construction experience to lead and grow the firm's Construction practice. You'll be responsible for leading a team that provides tax and consulting services to flow through entities and their related owners in a variety of industries with a concentration in real estate or construction. Experience with REITs, real estate funds, and/or developers is desirable, but not necessary. We'd be interested in additional industry experience, not limited to industrial (manufacturing, distribution), professional services, technology/life sciences, etc. The qualified candidate will provide personal, compliance, and business tax planning services to partnerships, owners, families, family businesses, as well as high net worth individuals. Limited travel in this region should be expected.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Masters preferred.
Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.
Requires strong background in working with pass through entity taxation, particularly with partnerships (S corporations).
Preferred partnership experience includes entity structuring, operating agreement review and consultation, compliance, allocations, partner transactions and related matters.
Prior experience with multi-state returns and operations helpful.
Previous Private Client Service (PCS) experience and knowledge of working with High Net-Worth individuals is highly desired, but not necessary.
Experience with complex individual tax compliance and planning a plus.
Candidate's strongest traits must be in client service and business development, leading to growth
