Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking an Engineer in Training with 0 to 3 years’ experience in Civil engineering to support our municipal services engineering team in our Colorado Springs office. The position will require working closely with professional engineers to complete projects on-time and budget. Candidates should be familiar with hydraulic design of gravity and pressure systems. Experience with open channel or enclosed system hydraulic design is preferable. The position will require completion of engineering calculations, technical writing for reports and specification preparation, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others in various design disciplines.
Although expected to work independently, this individual must be able to interact well with other team members within the Wilson & Company team.
Must have obtained a minimum of a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline. Emphasis in Water Resources is desirable.
Preference will be given to candidates with Masters of Science degrees in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Water Resources.
High degree of interpersonal and communication skills is necessary.

Required to have to have a minimum of 0-3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably focused on water resource engineering and design knowledge.
Familiarity with plan production, hydraulic and environmental calculations and design as well as technical report writing.
Experience with hydraulic structure design, including floodplain analysis and management is strongly desired. Primary focus will be municipal services with some overlap into water/wastewater distribution, highway transportation or railroad transportation.
