At Indeed, we are building a smart, intuitive and insightful Ads Platform that enables data-informed decision making and seamless end-to-end management of all job postings. The Targeting Infrastructure team is working on providing performant, robust infrastructure to serve data in real-time. The team's goal is to make big data available in real time - query any attribute of any user in less than 10ms.
We are are looking for engineers that are able to:
Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and reusable software systems
Experience breaking down work on complex problems.
Ingest and understand large amounts of data.
Develop highly-performant code.
Have strong ownership of your work and the problems you solve.
Naturally collaborate and help make others around you successful.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent field required.
3+ years experience in Java, Python, or C++ (Java preferred).
Experience with digital advertising such as ads serving, rendering, ranking or targeting (nice to have).
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to production.
The ability to distill problem definitions and constraints from informal and ambiguous business requirements.
Experience building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems.
Passionate about using data-driven approaches to solve the challenging problems in advertising.
Experience with Agile, Object Oriented modeling, web services, middleware and database.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
