This position is responsible for programming and setting up parts that are produced on our Integrex machines. This includes both the integration of new parts as well as continuous improvement related to cycle time reduction, and tool life and quality improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
An ideal candidate would be:
be a Class "A" Machinist able to demonstrate proficiency setting up and operating Mill-Turn machines.
be trained and be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows 7, Word and Excel.
be trained and be able to demonstrate proficiency in Solidworks with the ability to model complex parts, make drawings and setup sheets, and design and build fixturing required to support the operations they are programming.
have experience in the "G Code" programming and Mazacam Mill-Turn programming using Camworks and or Mastercam CAM Software on Mazak Controls.
be able to demonstrate proficiency in selecting and ordering the cutting tools needed for a tooling package to be issued to the floor with the program package they create.
be able to demonstrate proficiency in trouble shooting issues that arise with the programs they write on the shop floor while working in a team environment with machinist setting up the program.
