Chassis Engineering develops customized solutions for our customer's unique requirements. We work directly with our sales organization, manufacturing, and field service teams in order to get our customers' trucks on the road and to keep them working efficiently around the world. We are a dynamic, efficient, forward-thinking design team focused on matching our customer's needs with optimized emission solutions.
Develop concepts, design components and assemblies, participate in concept verification and product validation, release components, and bills of material
Support marketing, sales, production and service providing necessary design and documentation
Participate in continuous improvement, problem resolution, program management and process development activities
Work with cost engineering, purchasing and suppliers
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited university/college required, or proof of degree upon hire required
An attached resume is required
CAD Expertise- preferably in Siemens NX preferred
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills required
Knowledge of vehicle systems and assembly processes preferred
Knowledge of problem solving techniques and methods preferred
Experience working in cross-functional teams preferred
Previous DTNA Internship required
