Factory Test Implementation Engineer (Remote) - 2210239
What you will do
There is an immediate opening for a Factory Test Implementation Engineer. This individual will be responsible for helping to develop the Factory testing and Factory processes the organization uses to build products. We are implementing a complete testing solution for all HW that goes into a factory process.
This position will require the individual to be able to read and understand requirements which will be provided, and work to help drive the design and implement that design using C and or C++. This individual will work with a larger team and be under the direction of a manager who is responsible for creating the requirements and design.
How you will do it
Communicate Factory Test needs and obligations clearly
Implement Factory Test Requirements, Strategies, and Plans
Provide guidance and support to other teams who need to interact with what goes into the factory and what comes out.
Investigate and pursue new technologies that can be used to improve factory processes
Implement Factory test API’s to support factory operations
What we look for
If hired, candidate must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 prior to his or her start date.
Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
3 or more years of embedded device engineering
Linux programming in C and or C++
Hands on experience with system programming, development of service/driver type of applications in C/C++. Strong programming skills
Device drivers with hardware experience using scopes and emulators, an ability to analyze hardware schematics and provide feedback to hardware engineers
Good knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
Willingness and Ability to learn new technologies
Willingness to work with 3rd party test equipment and integrate with existing product designs
Expert knowledge of testing paradigms, test process development, .
Overall knowledge of the computing environment at large, e.g. typical uses and user populations of operating systems, communications protocols, hardware platforms, etc.
