Job functions to include evaluating, maintaining, design, analyze and improve various types of equipment, including electronic and mechanical equipment. General duties will be performing minor to extensive calibrations and repairs on existing equipment. Emphasis will be on ability to become proficient on multiple equipment platforms.
This assignment is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Photronics will provide on the job training to help the candidate be successful.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Document equipment changes, modifications and repairs
Work closely with other engineers and technicians on the support of production equipment
Troubleshoot process excursions and develop corrective actions to prevent their reoccurrence
Work collaboratively with fellow Engineers and technicians throughout the manufacturing flow to conceive and plan projects to improve manufacturability
Bachelor's degree in a sub-field of engineering, such as electronic or computer engineering. Also considered Military with technical training and or equivalent work experience on semiconductor equipment.
Experience in photomask or semiconductor processing and working in a cleanroom environment
Experience in semiconductor, AMAT Etch platforms, KLA, QCO inspection, photomask repair FEI/DRS, SEMs is preferred
Knowledge of various cleaning, etching, deposition and patterning (lithography) techniques
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
Motivated, independent thinker that works well with teams
Work Conditions/Physical Requirements
Must wear cleanroom attire, protective equipment and follow the cleanroom protocol
Lifting, handling, pouring, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds
Frequent bending and squatting to reach difficult areas
May be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time
Use of computer, Oscilloscope, DVM
