Dynamic Sealing Technologies, Inc. (DSTI) is looking to hire a full-time Front End Developer. This is a hybrid role open to candidates in the Minneapolis, MN and surrounding area.
We are a locally-owned global manufacturing company that designs and produces custom-engineered fluid sealing solutions for defense, energy and industrial markets. We take great pride in our internal and agile web development capabilities. We're looking for the next member of our small, but powerful team!
What You'll Be Doing
As our Front End Developer you'll build and deliver code for a variety of internal web applications as well as our external websites.
- Collaborate with end users to define, design and develop UI/UX workflows and new features to support our growing business
- Write, test, deploy and maintain code for improvement of existing and implementation of new internal web applications as well as our customer-facing websites (www.dsti.com)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help define project scope and schedule
- Assist with research, wireframing, prototyping and mocking up user experiences
- Conduct user testing and perform other user-facing activities to validate the design and interaction
- Maintain, prioritize and troubleshoot user feedback, issues and integrations
Skills You'll Need
- Organized, disciplined and self-motivated developer who also knows how to have fun
- Very strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP coding skills with a portfolio to back it up
- Knowledge of structure and how to interact with MySQL/MSSQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Git, GitHub or similar version/source control framework
- Awareness of the latest user interface and design best practices
- Previous experience in developing UX designs, workflows and prototyping
Flexible Work Schedule
We truly value work-life balance. The exact schedule is flexible, but we ask that all employees work between 9am and 3pm and typical weeks will require 40-45 hours of effort. This is a corporate job, not an agency position. We work hard, but do not expect heroics.
Due to the extensive collaboration with onsite end-users, we expect that this person will need to work from our corporate office in Andover, MN at least twice a week. We are open to a hybrid/remote schedule, but you must be based in the Minneapolis area and be willing to work occasionally from our office for teambuilding reasons.
