Datacenter Platform Engineering Architecture Group (DPEA) is looking for engineering talents to work for solving server platform datacenter deployment, integration, fleet health management challenges, Systems Engineering infrastructure, including performing high-level systems, hardware and software support.
The candidate will be responsible for the System Administration in the next generation of Intel Data Platform Group engineering infrastructure, hosted both on and off-premises. This individual is expected to work with Cluster Architects and Development Engineering partners to ramp, deploy and manage each cluster from Power On to EOL (End of Life). Prepares related installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions, analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests, analyzes engineering proposals and related technical data, to determine the feasibility of assigning new equipment or modifying existing equipment. Responsible for operational data and prepares customer application information. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or Master's degree with 1+ years of experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineer or related engineering field.
Experience configuring, installing, and updating Enterprise Server Platform hardware and/or firmware.
Experience in System Engineering debug/triage of Enterprise Platform issues.
Experience in system deployment at scale.
Experience in Intel Architecture and Enterprise Server system technologies and/or architecture.
Experience with installing and Administration of Windows and Linux OS and/or drivers.
Experience developing automation with software and/or scripting languages.
Experience defining technical requirements and/or process.
