Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Solutions (LM CES) is seeking a successful candidate to provide front line support to engine production throughout the engine overhaul process, including engine testing.
Candidate will also provide technical support to the Customer Program Management teams for fleet engineering on LM CES engine fleet contracts, as well as to the Configuration Control Specialist for configuration control and management of engine workscoping tasks in Quantum Control.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist Customer Program Manager in preparing Customer engine workscopes
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during engine strip and build on CFM56, CF34 and CF6 engine lines
Provide troubleshooting support during engine performance testing
Responsible for addressing and resolving MRB requests and other snags within a deadline
Technical liaison with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) on any shop related issues
Liaise with the Customer Program Manager on any customer requests
Prepare customized shop visit reports
Create and present customer technical presentations for Quarterly Review Meetings (QRMs) with the customer
Develop and maintain the LMCES Workscope Planning Guide documents
Manage Service Bulletin review process
Provide support to the Configuration Control Specialist during the publication review process
Develop and maintain engine workscoping tasks in Quantum Control
Participate in the financial analysis and cost reduction initiatives.
When not working in test cell, candidate will be called to support other business units as requested.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Materials or equivalent Engineering degree. Equivalent experience may be acceptable if candidate has strong pertinent background and strong analytical skills
1-3 years of experience in similar position, or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in handling technical aspects of maintenance repairs of aero engines in an Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)
Experience in handling and troubleshooting engine problems
Proven ability to conduct investigations, prepare technical reports and recommend manual revisions
Sound judgment and initiative
Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others
Willingness to be on call and to work extended hours including weekends
Fleet experience on propulsion systems
Ability to summarize, organizational planning and problem solver
Strong organizational skills and stress management
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office
Fluent in French and English.
Desired skills, qualifications and experience
Quantum Control experience is an asset.
