The successful candidate will be responsible for propulsion technology and vender development support for the Missile Propulsion Team on the CPS Program. Primary responsibility will include research, and development of propulsion components manufacturing. The candidate must be able to work autonomously, delivering the work products and be accountable for milestone achievement at a high level of reporting.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and with adjacent disciplines
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemistry, Materials, Electrical Engineering or other related discipline
Proficiency in IDEAS, Creo, and EPDM
Model Based Engineering experience (using CAD model as record of authority)
Design of aerospace components
Experience resolving hardware failures, discrepancies and/or test anomalies (root-cause, disposition, corrective action, review boards, etc)
Propulsion systems development experience
Knowledge of hardware manufacturing processes (machining, welding, heat treatment, surface treatment, assembly, etc)
