SEA CORP has immediate openings for entry level Software Engineers out of its main location in Middletown, RI.
Systems Engineering Associates Corporation (SEA CORP) is a veteran-owned business, based in Middletown, Rhode Island. Founded in 1981, we have been providing services to the Navy for over 35 years. Our core business is providing systems, software, and hardware engineering services, as well as test and evaluation services to the U.S. Navy, chiefly for submarine electronic systems.

Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of experience. These roles will work closely with a supervisor on assigned tasking and involve collaboration and interaction with customers and colleagues. These positions will require programming, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, strong organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 1+ years of technical experience or academic equivalent.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and be comfortable developing software in C++. Candidates should have familiarity with version control systems, Unified Markup Language (UML), and Linux. Ideally, candidates will have experience using Qt Framework and Qt Creator IDE for developing Graphical User Interface (GUI) layouts. Ideal candidates will also have experience writing software requirements and design documentation.
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance is required.
