As the Sr. Application Developer, you will be a key member of the Synergy team by providing direct support to the following areas:

Responsible for developing and deploying integrated solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating and coordinating the independently designed applications within and across the enterprises. Determines how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, Web interfaces and/or hardware logic, which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work together to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements. Develops methods to efficiently reuse existing components. Works with users to gather business requirements, performs database analysis, codes and tests middleware routines to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various IT systems and applications components. Participates in component and data architecture design, software product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Possesses skills and knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) methodologies and processes such as object-oriented programming, distributed, cross-platform program communication using message brokers, enterprise-wide content and data distribution using common databases and data standards implemented with the Extensible Markup Language (XML), middleware applications and message queuing approaches.

Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
10+ years' experience of programming/systems analysis in applications and systems architectural design & development, database and middleware technologies.
Worked on projects that span a broad range of systems and enterprise wide complex components requiring in-depth knowledge across multiple technical environments.
Experience in middleware and enterprise integration including XML/XSLT, Data Transformation, Integration Infrastructure and Web Services (REST/JSON, SOAP/WSDL)
Ability to design, develop, document, and support enterprise solutions utilizing design patterns, reference architectures, and best practices.
As an Agile team member, ensures that sprint objectives are completed in a timely manner, consistently achieving team commitments
Ability to develop software in Java, Javascript, .Net/C#, or other programming languages
Experience in developing web applications using Spring MVC, JSP/JSF/Structs, ASP.Net, Web API, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
Experience in Spring Integration, Batch, Data, Security
Expert knowledge in message oriented middleware patterns.
Expert knowledge using JMS and familiarity in Apche ActiveMQ, MSMQ, etc.
Experience with TFS, Git, Jenkins, Maven, DevOps, CI/CD
Experience with test-driven deployment
Strong experience with database oracle/SQL Server and database design
Experience in Oracle SOA Suite, Software AG webMethods, Tibco, JavaCAPS, Seebeyond eGate, etc.
Experience in XML gateways like Vordel XML gateway, IBM Datapower, etc.
Provide subject matter expertise and technical direction to more junior technical staff.
