Qualifications:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering
P.E. license required
5+ years of years of experience in Upstream and Midstream projects
Additional operations and design experience in utilities, pipeline, and product terminals desired
Familiar with multiple refinery process operations, troubleshooting, and small project execution
General knowledge of company, client, and industry codes, specifications, and standards
Experience in all phases of a project, from front end design to detailed design phase engineering
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work with internal project discipline and external engineering and operations staff
Comfortable making contact with new clients
Must be familiar with process simulation, including AspenTech HYSYS. Dynamic simulation capability a plus.

Responsibilities:
Work directly with clients and front line operations staff at operating plants to identify optimization and engineering opportunities, then further develop into projects
Assist with marketing Anvil and providing business development support
Help develop process engineering scope of work, work hours, and project design basis for proposals and projects
Interact with Anvil project teams to develop and support projects
Participate in meetings with the client and project team to establish project objectives and to coordinate and/or resolve design problems
Review project deliverables for technical accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with governing codes and client requirements
Manage a department, including resource forecasting and technical training
