Provide support to, implement, test and maintain the hospital’s server environment utilizing third party management tools, install and support the server environment, assist in the implementation of hospital application programs, ensure backup and security systems are operative, and enforce network security policies. Perform on-call duties as required.
REQUIRED: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related technical field OR degree can be offset four (4) years equivalent relevant or technical job experience. 2. Four (4) years experience in IT environment utilizing an Windows servers, Virtualization, Automation, and enterprise wide server technologies. 3. Ability to communicate effectively 4. Thorough knowledge of server building, maintenance, automation, clusters, hosts, high availability, redundancy, data center design and implementation, server hardware and software, and other best practices 5. Thorough knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, and enterprise solutions such as Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, VMware, Citrix, software distribution, anti-virus, backup solutions, remote access PREFERRED: 1. Technical certifications; including VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, or other certifications 2. Project lead or coordination experience 3. Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills 4. Excellent communication and customer service skills 5. Expert knowledge of virtualization technologies and/or Windows server solutions 6. Experience in Healthcare facility
