Key Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to develop, design, and bring to market innovative devices and services
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to cutting edge technologies at incredible scale and speed
Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use

As an engineer on this team, you will be given the opportunity to independently own driving improvements to our existing technology, while also designing and developing new products and interfaces.
A day in the life
This role will be responsible for building solutions for high-impacting associate
products. Collaborating with Product, BIE, and Program teams on day-to-day basis.
Participate in daily stand-up understand business pain points and unblock business,
stay on top of day-to-day work track, take complete ownership of your work and
drive the solution end-to-end.

The PXT Solutions works across has a goal to positively impact Associates by focusing on solving the problems that matter to them. Some of the products and programs are directly frontline, whereas others deliver key actionable insights to leaders and PXT teams on operational metrics, attrition, retention, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and engagement that result in a cascading Associate impact.
Enrolled in, or received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Previous technical internship(s)
Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
Experience in optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $110k - $160k/yr however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
