SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing consulting for integration of new technologies into existing application landscape
Building, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting existing interfaces
Documentation of end-to-end application flows
Ongoing improvement and enhancement to improve critical workflows
Software upgrades for interface engine (Mirth)
Adherence to systems standards and policies/procedural documentation
Consult on CARTI technology initiatives
Design and implement advanced business solutions to meet customer needs in critical environments.
Participate in all required activities as scheduled by leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing interface engineering expertise, consulting, and driving integration efforts in an enterprise healthcare environment. This role will serve as a Subject Matter Expert across all interfaces in the CARTI IT environment. Will also provide support and maintenance on the existing interface engine. Responsible for understanding departmental needs, researching issues and designing and delivering quality solutions. Works to continually improve systems through upgrades, expansion and other ongoing development efforts. Provides ongoing interface support.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, REGISTRATION:
Bachelor degree or equivalent professional-level experience required.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
5+ years supporting interfaces in an enterprise healthcare environment
Expert knowledge of HL7 and FHIR interface standards
Expert knowledge of the Mirth interface platform including maintenance and upgrade planning
Strong customer service, written and oral communications skills, ability to lead cross functional, inter-organizational technical teams on critical projects
Ability to work on multiple, moderate to high complex assignments simultaneously.
Very strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills for issues that involve critical data needs between critical applications
Ability to work with multiple vendor application and development teams when implementing and troubleshooting interface initiatives
Good working knowledge of key clinical process flows in a healthcare organization
