As a key member of the ASIC/FPGA engineering organization, you will be involved with embedded system hardware design for state-of-the-art secure communication products aimed for Cyber Defense Applications for National Security. You will be responsible for developing innovative embedded software and drivers targeted for state of art ARM-based System-on-Chip (SoC) which will be used among other means to validate and enhance L3 products.
You will be working under the mentorship of senior engineers who will guide and train you in the highly sought after state-of-the-art methodologies/EDA for the design of complex ASIC/FPGA implementations. This is a key role in the organization to ensure robust functioning of highly complex products for National Security.
This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, high-speed network architecture/design, Crypto implementations, and protocol (TCP/IP, Ethernet, PCIe) knowledge.
The successful candidate(s) will possess:
0-1 years of design experience with Logic Design and developing with ASIC/FPGA architectures
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred Required GPA > 3.3 of higher
Proficient in C++ / Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Linux
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
US Government Secret security clearance or ability to obtain clearance required. US Citizenship required
A PLUS for the following:
Experience with Xilinx Vivado EDA, Zynq/MPSOC
Experience with Vivado High Level Synthesis (HLS)
Experience with Clock Domain Crossing (CDC), Synopsys Design Constraints (SDC), and Static Timing Analysis (STA)Knowledge of TCP/IP, PCIe, Ethernet protocols and Crypto algorithms
