The Lithium Ion Cell/Module Application Engineer High Voltage Battery System (HVBS) is responsible for developing and managing requirements for advanced automotive battery cells/modules for hybrid and electric vehicle applications.
Responsibilities include:
Managing core requirements documents for lithium ion battery cells and modules
Managing core performance specifications for lithium ion battery cells and modules
Supporting development of source packages for battery cells and modules
Ensuring proper flow of requirements between the battery pack design teams and the cell and module DREs
Supporting critical design review process for lithium ion cells/modules
Maintaining interface between advanced development teams, virtual analysis teams, vehicle teams, pack teams to ensure all critical requirements for cells/modules have been documented
Maintaining lessons learned, holding regular meetings with cell/module/pack DRE teams to document
Being a member of cross functional team supporting battery pack design and release engineering
