Title: Integrated Logistics Support

Location: Mississippi

Pay Range: Open – Negotiable

Good understanding of all phases of procuring activities for Marine products, industry regulations and Company standards.

Must be familiar with ship outfitting procedures, inventory turnover and ship load out.

Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, customers, and subcontractors.

Knowledge of provisioning standards.

Knowledge of computer programs – Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of military training requirements to include development of instructor guides, student guides, and monitoring classes.

Performs support for subcontracted Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) efforts including procurement sourcing and ensuring adherence of purchased materials and services to Contractual requirements and Regulatory standards.

Candidate must be able to analyze Company’s contractual obligations for ILS Efforts and assist procurement personnel in solicitation efforts including development of work scope packages for suppliers.

ILS Specialist reports directly to the ILS Manager.

Monitor and review all phases of an ILS contract.

Direct subcontractor efforts according to the terms and conditions of a given contract.

Capable of communicating both oral and written instructions to ILS suppliers in a manner that represents the Company in a highly professional manner.

Ability to communicate on all levels with Program Managers, Procurement Specialists, Design Engineers and Production Personnel to ensure all program requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the dictates of the project schedule.

Maintain ILS schedules and communicates these schedule requirements to Project Schedulers to ensure seamless integration of ILS efforts in program plan.

Prepare presentation materials.

Ability to prepare spare parts lists and assist Procurement Personnel in the purchase of spare parts, special tools and basic issue items for marine vessels.

Completion of two years of college level course work or equivalent experience with major emphasis in Manufacturing; and/or operations of Marine Vessels or Military training; and/or experience in supply depot management/operations or Military/Commercial experience in development of Outfitting/Special Tools/Spare Parts Provisioning Lists or Operations Guides and instructions.

Prior experience in the Development of Provisioning Requirements and/or Commercial off the Shelf and/or Systems Manuals for Maritime vessels is highly desirable.
