The Job Search Front End Experience team is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and launch improvements to the core Job Search product. This team is responsible for creating a world class developer experience that allows product teams to develop, test and launch A/B tests quickly and safely. Through rapid experimentation our product teams learn how to deliver the best experiences to help people get jobs.
Our work integrates with many teams across Indeed and requires highly technical, innovative, flexible thinkers with excellent communication and passion for delivering the best experience to help people get jobs.
When you come to work on the JSFE team, you’ll be working with a small team of problem solvers who exhibit high energy, deep technical skills and a dedication to experimentation.
Responsibiliies include, but are not limited to
Actively participate with an Agile team of 4-6 software engineers
Prioritize development with our partners in Product
Craft new architectural designs with your team members
Develop high quality, maintainable code
Give helpful, constructive feedback through code reviews
Collaborate with team members in the US & Japan
Who You Are
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working on challenging problems, with a consistent track record of on-time delivery for large, cross-functional projects
Experience building highly scalable, highly resilient, globally distributed, microservices-based web applications
Experience helping fellow engineers through code reviews and writing documentation
Experience designing and building modular platforms for other teams to contribute
An understanding of the value derived from shipping code rapidly to production and learning/iterating on the results
BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
