This position will be responsible for effectively designing, managing, and implementing new autonomous robotics platforms and applications. The position requires a strong technically-oriented individual who is a good communicator and enjoys working with teammates to solve complicated challenges.

Essential Position Duties:
Create new robotic system concepts and designs.
Develop algorithms for estimation, localization, controls and computer vision.
Design, fabricate and assemble prototype robotic systems and components.
Examine edge technologies, create documentation and proposals for application into new products and tools.
Maintain detailed schedules that support overall product schedules and properly communicate status to management
Create and update technical documentation, test plans, and test results, analyze results and provide conclusive reports.
Manage and contribute in the review of technical documentation, test plans, and test results
Work on a team to complete projects with high quality while maintaining schedules
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Education & Experience:
Requires BS in Computer Science, Mechatronics, or equivalent with experience in Programming, Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
6 months of combined full-time, co-op, or internship experience required
ROS usage, configuration and development experience
Python, C++, or R programming experience
Fluency with a Linux development environment
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical principles regarding sensors, controls and signal processing
TensorFlow or other machine learning or neural network systems
Advanced research and prototyping experience
Experience developing using Computer Vision
CAN Communication Familiarity
Embedded Platform Development.
Demonstrated innovation and implementation experience.
