Position requires the ability to setup, install, maintain, rebuild, modify tooling for multiple CNC machines, review incoming jobs to determine if all required tooling is in-house and order non stock items. Position requires the ability to work with various software programs (Excel, Zoller, Esprit, SolidWorks) read Blueprints, operate Zoller tool presenter, navigate online and hardcopy tooling catalogs, work with various measuring equipment (caliper, micrometers, height gages, etc.)
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Setting up tooling for CNC Mill/turn machines
Preset tooling using Zoller presenter
Load tooling information on RFID chips
Maintain tool lists
Create tool models in SolidWorks
Review blueprints of incoming jobs and determine tooling needed
Work closely with CNC programmers and machine operators to ensure correct tooling is in place
Performs the duties of this position effectively in a fast-paced business environment with on-going project deadlines.
Ability to read, interpret and organize daily activities from policies, procedures, work instructions and control documents.
Skilled in team processes, ability to work with others to identify and solve problems, resolve conflicts and optimize opportunities.
Ability to lift approximately 45 to 60 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
Tech school degree or equivalent work experience
3-5 years as CNC machining environment
Skills and Abilities
Ability to use hand tools and setup equipment as needed.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications.
Capable of using measuring devices for equipment set-up and product inspection.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
