Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is looking for a Site Utility Manager to join our industry leading Nalco Water team. What You Will Do:
Act as the point of contact for the local customer
Single point communication with Utilities (Water, Natural Gas, Electricity)
Manage and support all staff including unionized GM/JLL with personnel concerns
Elevate, communicate, and address occurrences in a timely fashion
Prepare and monitor site utilities budget
Prepare and monitor project budget plans
Attend all necessary and other process meetings as required
Schedule technicians and production support
Work schedule planning for 24/7, 365 days with UAW Stationary Engineers, with OT and vacation scheduling
Conduct all hiring interviews for JLL Stationary Engineers in coordination with JLL recruiting
Coordinate and discuss employee goals and performance reviews as needed
Schedule/track training for all Stationary Engineers and ensure required state licenses are being maintained
Other duties as assigned

Position Details:
Location: Kansas City, MO
Shift: 1st Shift (will require off shift and weekend coverage as needed to ensure completion of all requirements)

Minimum Qualifications:
Two year technical degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of one year experience in supervising PH/WWTP Operations
Minimum of five years of operating experience in PH/WWTP Operations
Excellent oral, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing
Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer
Ability to analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner
Possess above-average verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to explain results of data gatherings
