The full-time Electrical Engineering position in the Systems Development Department is a highly motivated and self-driven role in Servo Control applications for military applications including experience in all aspects of gimbal or stabilized platform design.
Participates in team assemblies to analyze, develop requirements, and make recommendations for moderate to complex systems.
Participate in formal design reviews with Government customers.
Develop, simulate, code, test, and integrate new servo control algorithms.
Design and test new electrical hardware, including circuit boards, for military customers.
Interface with engineers of varying disciplines during design of new systems.
Develop and perform test procedures to validate new hardware.
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems
Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications
Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems.
Ensure individual responsibilities within projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably from an accredited ABET program
Familiarity with FPGA design
MS in Electrical Engineering
FPGA design experience
Servo Control for Military Applications
Electrical Hardware Design
MATLAB and Simulink
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
