PROJECT MANAGER, RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, KELOWNA, B.C.
Based in Kelowna and reporting to the Director, Project Management this role is responsible for leading construction projects within British Columbia, and possibly Alberta. Presently, the majority of activity is in the Kelowna area. Key responsibilities include project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control of a portfolio of new or existing projects
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage residential construction projects. This role requires someone who can apply project management principles as well as provide strategic operational insight to stakeholders. Knowledge of project management techniques, tools and methodologies associated with residential land development
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, business and project management teams to proactively manage a project

What you will be doing:
Provide effective and strategic management of projects delivered on time and on budget according to plan and proforma expectations
Lead the execution of land development and servicing approvals
Supervise and coordinate project deliverables with internal resources, consultants, trades and approval authorities
Create and manage project plans that align with scope, time, cost, quality and resources
Ensure that change, acceptance and approval management is proactive and effective on all projects
Identify and mitigate risks to project, proactively escalate to Director and Stakeholders as required
Provide timely communication and reporting to the organization, project teams and stakeholders
Actively engage with the Development, Home Construction, Sales teams and property operations to ensure alignment of activities
Effectively and consistently deliver project status reporting updates against proforma milestones and financial targets
Engage with industry and business organizations in the Central Okanagan region to enhance the Parkridge profile in the community
Lead, develop and empower team members
Provide strategic business and project management support in the development of current and future projects
