As a Software Engineer I on the Client Help Desk team, you will be responsible for writing code, testing, and debugging software. Additionally, you will understand user needs, provide input to design, develop integrations, and troubleshoot issues across Cerner's technology solutions. You may also participate in making enhancements to existing software from requirements and participate in code reviews. Some of the project work on this team will consist of building interfaces to sync tickets between a client's ticketing system and Cerner's IT Service Management. At least 4 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience
Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
At least 1 year of experience using C# and SQL
At least 1 year of Visual Studio experience
Basic understanding of REST and SOAP Web Service
Basic knowledge of any one version control software (Git, SVN, etc.)
Willing to work an on-call rotation as needed
in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
