Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR)/Office of Health Facilities (OHF)/William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital/Lewis Co.- Under administrative direction of the Hospital Administrator, manage and supervise Dietary, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Security and Safety Supervisors to ensure all departments are operating at full potential in providing safe critical services for patients and staff on a 24/7 basis. Responsible for the management and coordination of work projects for the construction, renovation, and ongoing maintenance of the buildings of William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital. Manages construction activities in coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Responsible for ensuring flow of work that allows for the identification of backlogs and the effective management of resources. Manages inventory control of materials and equipment. Develop and monitor performance improvement indices. Conducts periodic inspections of buildings. Evaluate the complexity of any needed repairs to determine the best solution, project costs, and oversees the implementation of approved procedures. Maintains ongoing relationships with all hospital departments to keep abreast of their service needs and to be able to anticipate problems before they become crisis situations. Serve as the 24/7 administrator on-call in rotation with the other Hospital senior managers. Pre-employment drug screening is required. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. This is a tobacco-free facility and campus. Minimum Qualifications
Training: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a degree in the area of assignment.

Substitution: Experience as described below may substitute for the training requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Experience: Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid administrative or supervisory experience in the area of assignment.

Special Requirement: A valid West Virginia drivers license may be required.
