The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Develop applications - design, code, test, and implement web-based applications following industry accepted design methodologies
Partners and participates in technical discussions with application team and other global partners
Develop application and business expertise and eventually lead design and architecture discussions with the project team
Solves and works on a variety of high impact, high-profile problems / projects
Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of applications programming
Ensures application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Persuades and influences others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills
Accurately estimate effort for assigned tasks and consistently meet commitments
Promote extensibility and reusability in application design and coding
Ability to conduct peer reviews to explain and defend component design, coding conduct
Understand and document optimal technical solutions for application deliverables
Coordinate and interact with other development and infrastructure group
5 plus years application systems development/maintenance experience
Experience in Developing Client Server Applications using Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, and MS SQL
Experience with Relational databases like Oracle and Sql Server
Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS), Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and RLM is a plus
Solid Design, Architectural and SDLC experience for enterprise software
Work with CTO, Information Security and other supporting organizations to deliver a robust product that meets Citi standards
Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
