Big Compass is looking for a consultant who is an out-of-the-box thinker with great people skills and a hunger for new challenges to join our talented team of developers and IT specialists. Our clients are Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries across the US. We're looking for someone who can lead a project team and manage it to successful completion as well as interact with clients and get their hands dirty.

As a Sr. Mulesoft ESB Developer, you would be responsible for design, development, support, maintenance, and implementation of complex, large-scale operational and fault-tolerant integration solutions. You will need to have the ability to work independently and have a deep working skillset within the ESB platform as well as the soft skills to effectively communicate with clients and peers at varying levels of management.


  • *Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers on Cloud solutions, application development, and deployment
  • Deep knowledge and experience with moving enterprise customers from on-premise deployments to the Cloud
  • Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues
  • Experience leading a team including growing and mentoring others
  • Preference will be given to candidates in Denver, Colorado, or candidates who are willing to relocate to Denver, Colorado

Skills Required

  • Good understanding of cloud computing technologies
  • Deep knowledge and experience with a variety of integration projects, both on-prem and Cloud
  • 3+ years of experience with MuleSoft
  • 5+ years of experience in integrations, APIs, and microservices architecture
  • Experience leading diverse teams with different skill levels
  • Experience with holding a leadership position with a client where strategic decisions are made in collaboration with the client and take into account experience and business needs


  • Work closely with a team to grow and mentor the team members
  • Work strategically with the client to ensure that business needs are met
  • Ensure the success of strategic initiatives are met by leading a team and working with the client
  • Facilitate the Cloud ESB architecture of a large organization that address the client’s requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance
  • Design reusable components and facilitate best practices within a team and across teams

Salary: $140,000.00 to $175,000.00 /year
