Responsible for designing code, implementing patient data, and performing data analysis methods, including data mining, process improvements to databases, and software verification/testing methods to elicit trends and develop approaches to improve efficiency of current clinical processes; use knowledge of medical imaging, image processing, matrix method in signal and medical image processing, computer vision, advance computer vision and machine learning algorithms to design, code, and test program logic; assist the systems analyst in translating requirements defined by systems analysis into logical, economical, and practical systems design; assist in the design and specification of data processing systems; provide support with designing data collection, processing, and control procedures; utilize Python, TensorFlow, R, C/C++, SQL Server, Excel, LabView, Matlab and the development of deep learning software to perform duties; develop scripts upon scripting interface from Eclipse to automate/simplify clinical process within Electronic Record System ARIA; support the interface and IT/IS team on the HL7 development between ARIA/Eclipse and EPIC databases, provide support of the radiation oncology data mining, and process improvement databases, develop file structures; design forms and reports; use programming and job control languages to design, develop, and test logic, and modify and maintain existing programs; analyze and evaluate results of program and procedure tests, test data, and program logic in order to determine proper program execution and procedures; and maintain a test database to ensure accurate test results.
