What does a great Application Developer do?
You will be responsible for coding, programming, testing, and analyzing application software.
Support existing business systems applications.
Consult with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions.
Design and document moderately complex technical requirements for business applications.
Have expert knowledge of one or more development language(s) and tool(s).
You must be able to determine and document complex software or system functional specifications.
Understand basic internal business processes or functions.
Consult with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications.
Design and develop computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on user defined requirements.
Write code, programs, tests, and analyzes new application software.
Advise IT management about IT issues within the Company.
Perform additional job duties as required.

As a Java Developer, you will:
Develop and maintain Java applications that will enable core business functionality
Practice test-driven development
Incorporate paired programming
Participate in coding katas that will challenge and grow your skills
Be part of an agile team

You are the kind of person who can:
Work on moderately complex projects with a high breadth of responsibility.
Participate in far-reaching research projects, making important decisions.
Provide technical coaching to business functions and lower level programmers on moderately complex issues.
Work independently on assigned tasks. Have independent authority to make significant changes to systems and environment.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelors degree at College of Engineering and Technology
3+ yrs. of related IT experience.
Expert in one or more development language(s) and tool(s).
Must be able to determine and document complex software or system functional.
Understands moderately complex internal business processes or functions.
