We have an IMMEDIATE NEED for Senior and Junior Construction Engineers and Inspectors in Omaha. JEO's Transportation Department provides expertise and services including traffic engineering, transportation planning, roadway and bridge design, and construction management and inspection. The Construction Engineer/ Inspector is supported by a department of professionals managing successful projects that exceed client expectations while meeting JEO's financial goals.
The Construction Engineer/Inspector will:
Provide on-site inspection services for transportation improvement projects
Review applicable construction standards, regulations and contract requirements necessary for the completion of assigned tasks
Coordinate design and construction operations meeting applicable contract requirements
Assist with design calculations
Record and organize progress files, email correspondence, design alterations and project statuses
Print, plot, and scan various project plans and drawing data
Perform field construction observation for compliance and detailed documentation
Have the ability or willingness to learn MicroStation and/or AutoCad to assist on preparing plans would be a plus.
Preferred: Have 2 – 10+ years of experience working as the Lead Inspector or as an inspector on transportation projects.
