Cambridge Medical Technologies (CMT)
CMT is a privately held company developing micro-sensor-based medical devices and diagnostic technologies for health and clinical applications. Our focus is on connected bio-monitoring capabilities for early disease detection, painless management of chronic diseases, and improved economics for patients and doctors. The Company is developing a proprietary Band-Aid sized platform technology that is intended to provide the world’s first real time trended patient information system capable of actually monitoring blood biomarkers. Based on novel microelectromechanical (MEMS) technology, CMT micro-sensors are designed to safely and reliably measure health-related patient information in a painless, non-invasive way and transmit that information in real time to a remote display device, hospital or doctor’s office system, cell phone, or PC. CMT seeks talented and motivated individuals to accelerate product development for these market driven solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of materials and processes for various biomolecular sensing devices. Responsibilities include hand-on technical development of amperometric blood analyte sensing and other electrochemical sensors for improved robustness, accuracy and scalability in manufacture.
